    We are on the island of Birie at Papua Paradise Eco Resort near Batanta island and we felt strong tremors with the over-water bungalows shaking and things falling down. On land now, been waiting for one hour and checking for tsunami alerts. Everyone is packed and prepared, evacuation uphill plan in place. Please keep updating this page!!
