We live on the ridge in Snoqualmie, and felt the tremors. They lasted about 10 seconds. A vase on the mantle rattled, but no overturned furniture,etc. It was very noticeable what was happening. We had people on 3 levels and everyone started texting do you feel that????

Saturday, Sept. 12th ~ At 3:22 pm I was typing at a little typing stand on the 5th floor of a condo located at the south edge of Echo Lake, Shoreline, WA.
I felt the quake unmistakably and reported it on Facebook at 3:24, asking if other’s in my community had felt it. Few had.
It was a sharp ‘whip’ that shimmered the floorboards for 3-4 seconds creating a shimmer of a vibration that radiated up my typing stand. The wands of my levelors swayed before I felt a soft roll of an aftershock 2-3 seconds long as the sharp ‘whip’ died down.
The whole sensation lasted no more than 8 seconds.
No damage, no displaced furniture, no rattling dishes.
